| 120448 | 2003-02-11 23:52:00 | Short answer, no. You'll either need to drop back down to 56k. AFAIK, Xtra never limited P2P traffic for 56k users, but throttled the hell out of everything on ADSL. Same as others too, I think? Lo. |

| 120449 | 2003-02-12 00:51:00 | They do it by the ports that are used. http uses port 80 - this is what you use at pressf1 ftp uses port 21 pop3 uses port 110 - checking email smtp uses port 25 - sending email So what they do is block or "manage" certain ports data transfer. |
