You'll either need to drop back down to 56k. AFAIK, Xtra never limited P2P traffic for 56k users, but throttled the hell out of everything on ADSL. Same as others too, I think?

http uses port 80 - this is what you use at pressf1
ftp uses port 21
pop3 uses port 110 - checking email
smtp uses port 25 - sending email

So what they do is block or "manage" certain ports data transfer.

Or you could use an isp like ihug that dosent throttle p2p traffic.
