| 120739 | 2003-02-13 00:47:00 | My Samsung SW212B (P000: latest firmware revision) now refuses to read a CDRW I burnt with it a few months ago. My Asus DVD drive reads it just fine, and runs the backup files a-okay. So I'm thinking that it might have alot to do with getting a new CDRW drive (moan)... FYI, I re-installed XP since writing said disc and wonder if that may be why my drive is throwing a fit with it? All other discs work fine. |

| 120740 | 2003-02-13 04:14:00 | Check XP's built in CDRW settings, I have an idea that if it was burnt with some special CDRW software XP's built in CD Writer software wont read it, have you tried disabling XP's built in CD Writer software and installing the software you burn it with? (Presuming you didn't you XP's built in software to write the disk). Cheers Liam |

| 120741 | 2003-02-14 05:03:00 | I've had this problem with all the cd writers that i've had - four so far. I have found that to get the best results, write at the lowest speed you can wait for, and then the cd's seem to last the longest and read on all readers. | andy (473) | ||
