| 121185 | 2003-02-14 06:22:00 | I voluntarily look after a small Windows 9x school network with a Linux server. The office consists of two PCs (Windows 98) - one for the secretary with the HP1200 connected locally and shared and one for the principal. Remote printing from the principal's PC has been reliable over the LAN. Recently printing over the network has stopped - but local printing is still fine. WHen printing over the network there are no indications that anything is wrong - the job goes to the queue and eventually clears - but nothing prints out. The printer is on-line and the icon is viewable over the network (not greyed out). I have reinstalled the driver on the remote PC - no change. Any ideas? |
