121150 2003-02-14 05:40:00 While at work I logged on because there was a problem with the computer at work (say no more) while I was downloading a program visited Pressf1, I made a reply, telling the person to use Google, Now I am at home, I found my posting gone, Because of that felt insulted, now I never which to part of the pressf1 web , E.ric (351)

121153 2003-02-14 05:53:00 Surely this is an extreme reaction?

Was it your posting "Re:Win 95 fatal error" today? It's there. Sometimes the database is doing things which involve locking records. That can stop a posting being listed for a short time.

The reason we have Press F1 is because computers aren't perfect!

There could be a multitude of reasons for a missing or delayed posting - including a glitch between your modem and the server.

What was all that about? I was only trying to help you by providing a link to your post in case your computer was the reason for the apparent no show. I though perhaps it might not have refreshed the page for some reason.

I neither know nor care when you go home, so if you are going to be this rude to people who try to help you, maybe you should take cold shower to cool down and come back when you feel better. You have good advice to offer and it's a shame to spoil your excellent contributions by spitting the dummy over something so trivial. IMHO you seem to have scored an own goal on this one.

Cheers

I made two posting to that topic, we can only see one now I second on the one you point out, the first posting was about 2pm the second posting about 6.30pm from memory without looking at the thread, I go home at about 5pm the first post was made at work like I said the second posting was done at home after I went home at work at 5pm and after 6pm why do you not understand about my posting that disappear from the one I made at work. I don't know way it was taken off there was nothing wrong with it.
