The best water I have ever tasted came from a stream which ran underground most of the way and I assume the mineral content gave it the flavour it was also beautifully chilled. I reckon it would have made a lovely home brew. When not drinking water I have a passion for Guiness. |

If you don't believe me you could have a lot of fun testing it. |

How anyone could drink water is beyond me. People who pay for it in supermarkets are rather moronic, not to mention frivolous with their money. I much prefer a nice hot cup of coffee myself |

I have always believed that it is those accursed bubbles that actually cause the morning-after headache as well! But seriously, I drink about 2 litres of water a day (well filtered - I don't drink Waikato mud straight!). I do love coke though - always have. I remember when I was a rural apprentice sparky, we would often use it to free up water pump bearings. Pour in a little coke, have smoko (and the rest of the coke) and after a half hour or so, the semi-seized bearing would be as free as new. Great stuff. We also use to clean pennies in it when we were kids, and certainly disolved nails in it, but I don't think it is as good as it used to be. |

The sugar replacements used (eg. in Diet Coke) actually increase your appetite so if you are doing it to save weight but drink a lot of Diet Coke you may be defeating the purpose. |

| 121018 | 2003-02-16 10:23:00 | I usually have filtered or boiled water. 500mL a day. Tea for morning. One can of diet coke - each month or so abouts... Cannot stand normal Coke. Coffee maybe like twice a week in the morning at most. Rayonline |
