| 120994 | 2003-02-13 22:17:00 | Chill, CGCH is the only major NZ town whose tap water is drinkible, it is unclorinated, and a filter makes no difference here. I like that about the town. One brand of bottled water was tap water from Tuam(?) street :D agent: If you have saw eyes, feel slugish, wake up feeling thirsty, saw joints etc this may well be a sign of dehydration... Many of us only feel thirsty when we are dehydarted. Because you are young, you can get away with depriving your body alot more. but you will last a lot longer, and stay in good condition if you flush alot of water through your body, this removes toxins, and helps stop the bodys filters from getting blocked up prematurely (kidneys, tonsils etc) .Clueless |

This is about one third of the cafeen in a cup of coffey and slightly less than a cola drink. BTW this is my 500'th post :D |

| 120999 | 2003-02-14 01:27:00 | > 6-8 glasses?! > > Well, My average a day is about 1 maybe?! Exactly, 6-8 glasses is absolute rubbish, invented by water distributors to duh, sell water. Your body has it's own thirst mechanism, which duh, tells you get drink something when you need to, forcing water into your system is pointless. Hell my 82 year old grandfather still gets up at 7 every morning to shift stock on a 3000 acer hill country farm (and hes fitter than be), but I know for a fact that he doesn't drink 8 glasses of water a day! BTW water IS water whether it is classed as milk, tea, coffee or coke. And for the record I prefer Diet coke to normal coke, it has a sharper taste and less of the sickly sweetness. |
