Opera Releases ''Bork'' Edition Two weeks ago it was revealed that Microsoft's MSN portal targeted Opera users, by purposely provided them with a broken page. As a reply to MSN's treatment of its users, Opera Software today released a very special Bork edition of its Opera 7 for Windows browser. The Bork edition behaves differently on one Web site: MSN. | 121412 | 2003-02-15 04:04:00 | yes and no. it can change it say to IE6 which will fool most useless scripts but it ALWAYS has an opera tag on the end of it which will always indentify itself as opera. there is a thread on it in the opera forums. |

Imagine if you went to a BP petrol station in your Holden, and they filled up your tank with petrol containing sugar, cause BP was owned by Ford. What right have M$ got to do that |

Strangely enough, when I first installed Opera and found out about MS's dirty tricks I tried out the MSN pages and they were fine for me. I have since discovered that it must be because I have Opera set to identify itself as MSIE. |

They currently aren't doign it, but when they are, if your browser didn't identify itself as made by MS they would give you a style-sheet that told the browser to use a negative gap between lines in lists making them unreadable. |

Of course most will just use the Microsoft browser so get fed the "non corrupted" version of the web pages. Microsoft just don't have the resources to test their pages properly :D |
