121791 2003-02-16 23:45:00 outlook express is a e-mail manager and outlook is a "personal manager" ie: does appointments/email/calander etc...

121792 2003-02-17 00:09:00 Outlook is usually part of Microsoft Office (Although it could be obtained separately)

Outlook Express is free, Outlook is not (but may be bundled with some other things)

Your POP3 settings might be incorrect if you are able to send, but not receive emails.

These instructions are for Outlook Express (presume Outlook would be similar):

Have a look under tools > accounts > properties > servers tab

Do the details listed under incoming mail POP3 match what your Internet Server Provider (eg Extra, Ihug) gave you?

If you are not sure what your details should be, posted back here with the name of your ISP and we could find the correct settings for you.
