| 121862 | 2003-02-18 07:32:00 | HI Im using nero ver 5.5.3.5 software for burning using iso mode1 and the o/s is win98se I am not aware of any compression on in any programes if so its not obvious to me. All the error message displays is severe as a header then Unknown compress info error - 1 with no additional display . Hope this helps |

| 121863 | 2003-02-18 09:32:00 | Perhaps the CD is bad? Try ISO'ing the cd with a tool which has some recovery ability e.g.: winiso www.winiso.com or badcopy See if the image verifies as okay. I would probably try and seperate errors with reading or writing at this stage although you may have more knowledge in the specific area. If it is a protected CD such as a game then i think the likelyhood of finding help here is unlikely, especially as it would need discussion of matters specific to CD Protection which would probably need to be revealed in order for it to be done successfully, but if i recall correctly i think you said it is a Driver or something like that |
