122224 2003-02-18 16:03:00 I use Word 97. The default setting for arrow size from the Drawing toolbar is too small. When I change the format and 'set' the autoshape it only remains for that document. When opening a new document the arrow reverts to its' small default size. How can I set the format default for all documents?? Shooter (3119)
122225 2003-02-18 22:37:00 Hi, I dont believe you can easily amend the default for existing documents but you can create your own template. Open a new document and draw a shape then format it at you like (r-click - format) then r-click again and select Auto-Shape defaults. Save document as a template. Alternatively, you can edit the Normal.dot template (instead of creating your own) and this will come into effect for all new documents. parry (27)
