| 122178 | 2003-02-18 07:23:00 | Yikes! not a good thing to lose! Ok, checklist... Have u wiggled the plugs? Are the lights on the KB working? Spilt anything in it lately? Have you checked device manager and checked the KB is happy? Have you shut down and left comp turned off a few minutes before turning it back on? (dont ask me why this often works...) Have you checked KB properties in Control Panel to make sure nothing has been fiddled with? Run an anti-virus program just in case it's something along those lines fiddling with your comp? If none of these things provide an answer, and if there's no power to the KB (no lights going) then try pulling your KB apart (watching verrrry carefully for how to put it back together, some are simple but some have lots of layers of fiddly bits) and check that there's no lose wires etc. Good luck! hope it's an easy fix. |

| 122181 | 2003-02-18 09:23:00 | 1. Is there Lights? 2. If not, there is no power either pull it to bits or buy a new one. Like susan said, have you tried another one? If its USB there could be a possibility for it to randomly stop. If its AT or PS2 and its stoped then you should replace it, as these are legacy adapters and are hardwired whereas USB can be fiddled (hence the possibility for it to go wrong) |
