| 122047 | 2003-02-17 21:22:00 | I recently transferred my Win98 SE and all its accumulated trappings to a newer/faster box. As part of the settling-in and housekeeping I ran a variety of "helpful" items including a visit to pcpitstop. After the housekeeping, everything runs like a fire-engine BUT at Start/Shutdown/Shutdown I get the same response as when I run Start/Shutdown/Restart. I hate to deprive the beast of power just to shut down. Any help appreciated. |
