122042 2003-02-17 17:51:00 Where can I get the latest version of Turbo Assembler? SpiderVenom (1412)

122044 2003-02-18 02:03:00 Why not a borland.com (www.borland.com/)? :D There are free assemblers, (I think there is a GNU one) but the Borland one is pretty good. It was packaged with TP7, which is the last one I've installed. I think it's TP5.5 which Borland give away ... it fits on a single 1.44Mb disk, whereas TP7 uses about 10. Graham L (2)

122046 2003-02-18 03:16:00 I've still got the book (and the single 5¼" floppy) of TP3. (I bought those in a computer auction, which would have been about 1985 or so).

Brilliant. I did things with that which would otherwise have needed assembly code.

With TP5 you could use the same code (including your own units) on a VAX.
