| 122192 | 2003-02-19 09:00:00 | My only real reccomendation for a palm is get one with more than 2 megs of ram, because it would limit what programmes you could install and run. My m105 has 8 megs which seems to be about right. Discalimer: I won the thing, so I haven't actually used it for "work", only solitare. |

The usual suspects of course, but I only have two loaded on my Palm - Euchre and a kind of Yahtzee. There are lots of Solitaire games (some bundled with the Palm) and others that I haven't bothered to chase up. And yes, make sure you have a model with at least 8Mb of RAM as bmason recommends. You will also be better off if you can spring for one of the models that has an expansion card, because you can move most applications out of RAM to the card and run them from there. But you still need to have 8Mb of RAM. Expansion card slots (usually Compact Flash, or Secure Digital/MM) can also be used for other peripherals such as modems, GPS etc. but I guess that is a long way off for you if ever. |
