| 122591 | 2003-02-20 06:12:00 | Windows XP, when the PC is logged off and sits idle for a while, upon loging in, we get unwelcome Windows Messenger popups, selling the usual rubbish or advertising porn sites. This started ever since we connected with Jetstream Starter. We are running the usual apps, MSN etc. A quick check and I saw IE6 was set to Accept All, is this the cause of Win Messenger popups? It can't be a default setting, unless as you say its something to do with jetstream as i only have dial up :-( Here (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) HTH :-) |
