122403 2003-02-19 05:43:00 Have Windows 98SE and Works 2000 and have been thinking about uprading the Works to Works 7 or maybe getting the whole Works Suite 2003.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations. Whether it's a good/bad idea etc.

Hope everyone has had some of the much needed rain.

Wear everything Red tomorrow!!

122404 2003-02-19 06:06:00 I couldn't stand Works :P it was too, how can I put it "Templamatic", I always liked doing my own thing. Anyway if there's a good reason for you to upgrade then why the heck not? Just make sure you read the box and see if it's compatible for 98SE (surely it is) and that your computer specs fits.

Wear everything red tomorrow, sounds like a good idea but I don't have red pants, and I don't think I'd work in red pants either.

122405 2003-02-19 20:03:00 Go for the Works Suite 2003 as it has Word. mikebartnz (21)
122406 2003-02-20 00:32:00 Thanks you two for your input .

Just one other query .

If I do upgrade I take it I remove Works 2000 first .

I assume I am able to intal it myself . Doesn't need an expert to do it for me .

And will I still be able to use all the documents I have done with the old system if I take on Word

122407 2003-02-20 01:57:00 I don't know if you have to uninstall the old version. It should tell as you install the new one which you can do yourself. Yes you will still be able to use all your old documents. mikebartnz (21)
