| 122372 | 2003-02-19 01:27:00 | Hi all... Can anyone give me their (educated) opinion about some good Backup applications for Windows. I am a systems admin for a medium-sized company with several notebook users. We are looking for an app that we can run on those machines to allow the users to either schedule a backup or run one with a minimum of fuss. (ie: single click!) Needs to be able to back up to a network share. Password protection would be a good option too. We run mainly NT 4 & 5 machines but there may still be a couple of 98 notebooks floating around too. Cost is not too much of an issue, but we obviously don't want to have to purchase a volume license from one of the software giants if at all possible. So far I have trialled AIS Backup which is pretty good, but I would like some more options from this learned bunch. Cheers! |
