| 122990 | 2003-02-21 09:45:00 | I am currently using a Compaq Presario Notebook and have just signup for Jetstream. Now thinking of which one to buy for the connection - USB Modem or Router ? Which one is better in term of connection and speed ? Any particular brand of modem or Router that can recommend, i.e Dynalink, Alcatel, Dlink, Plexuscom or Speedstream? | 122991 | 2003-02-21 23:47:00 | USB DSL modems are akin to WinModems, they use some of your PCs processor power to do their job. My recommendation is an external router. Dunno about anyone else here, but I've had no problems with the Asus AAM6000EV. |
