If one is to be a back up of another your best bet would be to get a PCI Raid card as with the Raid card it can be set up to write the same data to two disks at once. You can pick them up new fron about $150 to $1500. Search on Raid or Hard Disk Controllers. |

I want to drop in CD-WR drive with a much slower read capacity to burn on a slow process of scanned 35mm colour slide material. My board is a 1.7 Pentium 4 driven set up with 512 MB ram. The set up was custom built with a video capture & edit Quadro 4 with Vivo & NVidia for VCR capability. |
