| 1330208 | 2013-02-26 21:14:00 | Those files can be a pain to install. Because they can corrupt themselves. Or wont work, (or updates wont install) if the previous installs were installed in the wrong order. Look in C:\windows\softwaredistribution folder. Open the reportingevents txt file. Copy and paste some of the lines at the bottom. That'll usually tell you the reason and what the error is | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 1330209 | 2013-03-04 10:13:00 | Sorry speedy I can't copy and paste as when I highlight the part I want it just zooms over to the left of the page which is the total history of all downlaods. Anyway, the last few lines show the error KB982524. When I go to the Microsoft site to get the updates it tells me I cannot view the page until I download an ActiveX control . How do I get that? | dianne pierce (13385) | ||

| 1330211 | 2013-03-06 09:47:00 | They are enabled as directed above speedy but when I go to the Microsoft update site and scan for updates it gives the message that I need to install an activeX control and the recommended instruction is to go to the information bar and selct install active x control. When I do this there is no option to install it | dianne pierce (13385) | ||
