1304700 2012-10-02 21:22:00 I have a new tablet and I'd like to use it for skype but I would prefer a headset to the built in speaker and microphone.
Can anyone recommend a headset for this, and confirm that a bluetooth heaset should work with skype on my Assus transformer?
Or am I better off going for a wired headset using the 3.5mm jack.

I'm fairly fussy with headsets so it could be an awkward question, here are my preferred requirements.
under $100 (unless it's awesome)
Light and Comfortable for long term use - I don't like things that clip over my ear they never fit right, vinyl or similar makes my head sweat, and I don't like the behind the neck style. traditional style over the head with foam covers is probably the best for me.
Good battery life, rechargeable and can be used while charging is a good option
Good volume and clarity
If I get a stereo headset with reasonable quality it might occasionally get used for watching videos or listening to music as well

Any comments or recommendations welcome please.

For some years now I have been using Logitech headphones with built in mic for Skype and Echolink to keep in touch with people around the world. Apart from family members with whom I used Skype the others are Amateur Radio operators who use Echolink.

I had no problems with either mode using Windows but now I am using Assus TF I can talk to the Hams who have no problem hearing me but I can only hear them very faintly and I am still using the same headset.
