Are you just making a fuss because it is Zara? Two things with this stood out to me - first, looking back over her previous posts, she appears to have made a lot of posts like this, which I find worrying in a mod. And of course, she can (and from previous posts it looks like she is pretty liberal with this) ban people. What Plod said though, good to see common sense prevail. |

And secondly, she has previously appeared to be faily liberal in her use of the ban.Her main role on this forum has been as Moderator/Admin. Of course most of the posts are going to be in response to reported posts. When she gets a response like this, it is no wonder Zara doesn't join in the general chit-chat threads. You want to join in discussion just like anyone else, but because you are a Mod your words may be interpreted differently. It can be hard to balance the two. I've only once had to contemplate banning Chill for something he said, but he self-moderated himself in the end. :p | Jen (38) | ||

If she does post like this, I'd like her to take part in the debate that will ensue. Also, with regard to post #13. Maybe its because she never joins in the chit chat or computer help at all that posts like this don't go down very well. With you can Chill, I can post knowing what will be deemed to be fine, and what won't be - because you are around and posting on the forums. With Zara, I can't tell what she will take and what she won't. My view on her as a mod is that she has a very thin skin, and isn't willing to take criticism, hence why she rarely makes multiple posts in the same thread, and hardly ever replies to posts like this. Example - post #4, I wasn't certain if Zara would take offense and ban me or not. Zara - if you see this, this is just my opinion on how you appear as a mod here. No personal offense meant. :) |
