2003-02-23 08:53:00 | Do you mean Acrobat Reader? Is this just off a CD or downloaded from the web, as the file may be corrupted.

2003-02-23 09:03:00 | Yes acrobat reader,he had it on his pc and has used it b4,the info from cam was on disc. | Thomas (1820) | |
2003-02-23 09:05:00 | This what he got. The first one..."There was an error while loading the plug-in 'Acrofill.api. The plug-in is incompatible with this version of the viewer. There are three more with different plug-ins, then ACRORD32 has caused an error in Reflow.api. Acrord will now close. If you have more problems try restating the pc. G

Error loading the Plug-In AcroFill.api If you get the error message "There was an error loading the Plug-In AcroFill.api" when launching Acrobat Reader, you may have an older version of MSVCRT.dll. Please upgrade to the latest MSVCRT.dll or reinstall Windows using your installation CDs (in case it was erroneously replaced by some other installer). The above straight from the web. This basically means some software may have loaded an older or incompatable .dll file. |

2003-02-23 10:23:00 | You don't actually need to know Thomas, just look upon it as a file you need to get Acrobat working. Search the computer using the find function to see if it is there and what version you have. Then update it per the instructions provided by godfather. Do the same Google search to get the whole story. If in doubt, rename the old version and try the new, you can always revert. Cheers Billy 8-{)

2003-02-24 04:43:00 | Hmmm........ Maybe I was a bit cryptic there Thomas, but problem is you see, when I came onto PF1 I got really savaged for writing short novels as answers. Since then I have curbed myself a little, but I still tend to write novelettes. Cheers Billy 8-{)

2003-02-24 05:24:00 | All a question of balance Billy, how do we do it?Being the opposite to you,I expect people to read my mind. Chum solved it by the way,by going to A.R web site and downloading the latest A.A.R.5,they mentioned that if downloaded from other sites, there was a chance of corruption en ruite.
