2003-02-23 08:23:00 | Hey Which out of these 2 cameras is better? I will mainly be using it for taking pics of my R/C, pics of things im selling on trademe, etc, just general pics of stuff. Any others you can suggest would be great, but it has to be under $200, have an LCD screen, and a flash. Thanks Camera 1: www.dse.co.nz Camera 2: www.dse.co.nz

Just have a look at the addresses, search at the dse.co.nz site for product code/number XG0031 and XG0098. Sorry, I can't say which one is better, about the same I guess... |

2003-02-23 09:29:00 | DSE URLs format fine, if you follow the clearly detailed formatting options given at the posting screen. like this (www.dse.co.nz) Trick is never do it from the product selected from the search but only from clicking on the actual product you have found. Looks like one has 8 mB internal memory and can se SD cards for more, the other uses a CF card. Is a CF card included though? CF cards are the cheapest form of memory. At this price level quality may suffer. They are so similar you would need to see the result from each to decide. Both a fixed focus which is going to be a limiting factor on quality. Both are probably very good value, albeit for mediocre results.

2003-02-24 08:41:00 | Sure. Mustek G smart Mini 2. No flash, no zoom, 2.0 mega pixel (but i think they are lying), size of a credit card...No color LCd screen, yea, i think these are better.... Whats the cheapest CF card? Cause mainly the pics i take will be uploaded pretty much striaght away. Thanks for all your help so far.

2003-02-24 08:47:00 | Okay i found a 8MB CF on DSE for $20. This will do me for now i think. I think im gonna go with the XG0098 (coolcam) model, as it appears slightly better, plus it is cheaper, and has a bigger LCD screen.

2003-02-24 19:09:00 | Well, I am amazed. I never would have thought you could get a camera at that price. What sort of quality are we really talking about? Can you print proper photos or do they need to fit on a postage stamp? robo.
