| 123366 | 2003-02-23 07:21:00 | I have Windows ME. My 'My Pictures' folder used to show small pictures of my jpg files, in the thumbnail view, but now it doesn't - it just shows the icons. How can I get the pictures back, please? - Stephen | ssssss (2100) | ||
| 123367 | 2003-02-23 11:11:00 | System restore? Try reinstalling Picture it Express? Try creating another folder in My pictures and transferring pictures to it? You have clicked on View and chosen Thumbnails I take it? | Danger (287) | ||
| 123368 | 2003-02-23 18:48:00 | Try Windows Explorer > navigate to the folder in question and open it > View > Thumbnails > that should give you a thumbnail view of everything in there. If you have Thumbnails replaced by List then you will get a list of all the pictures there with there icons but clicking once a icon should bring up to the left a single thumbnail of that picture, a slow way of doing it if you have 100's of pic's to search through. Possible corrupted folder ? Try opening a different folder somewhere else and try the Thumbnail View in that folder instead. Better programs for viewing a large number of images would be a dedicated viewing program. InFranView is a free one available from www.studiofx.co.uk ftp://ftp.stack.nl/pub/users/rem/viewers/iview375.exe ThumbsPlus is a good one but costs as does ACDSee which is also good. http://www.cerious.com/ www.acdsystems.com/ |
