| 123306 | 2003-02-23 03:49:00 | I would like to be able to use my own photos for the backgrounds of my desktop, but only seem to be able to add about 3 or 4 before apparently running out of room. Subsequent attempts only delete the last entry. Is there a way of removing the ones provided with Win ME? | Earnie (3226) | ||
| 123307 | 2003-02-23 04:07:00 | Hi Earnie What you can do is add copies of your photos (jpg's etc) directly into Windows ME wallpaper folder. Double click on your "My Computer" desktop icon > C drive > Windows > Web > Wallpaper. Then copy & paste your photo's into this folder. You will then be able to see all your added photos when you go into Display Properties - Background. You can delete the default ME wallpapers from that wallpaper folder if you wish. Jen |

| 123308 | 2003-02-23 04:11:00 | On my version of WindowsME the desktop pictures can be found in C:/My Documents > My Pictures In Windows Explorer you can delete the ones you don't want and add more to that folder. Hope that is what you are after. |

| 123309 | 2003-02-23 04:20:00 | hmmm .... on closer inspection of my Web > Wallpaper folder, it only contains the images that can be used with Active Desktop turned on :-(. That is not much help to you. Gordon is correct, wallpaper images are also found under "My Pictures", you can set them as wallpaper by browsing for them using the "Browse" function under Display Properties, Background. | 123310 | 2003-02-23 05:46:00 | Thanks Jen & Gordon, by some fluke by following Jen's suggestion, I was able to do what I was aiming for, by overwriting my pic onto one of the existing ones and changing the name to suit. Thanks again. Earnie |
