| 123146 | 2003-02-22 06:30:00 | Win95, IE5 - Can find Disconnect if Inactive on Modem Went to a friends place today, his PC, details above, disconnects from the net after 2-3min, then imeaditely wants to reconnect. I looked at other threads on PF1 which suggested I look at the Modem properties. It has a Internal Modem, cant remember the brand. I looked everywhere in the Modem Properties, Looked at IE5 Options, but nowhere could I find the Disconnect if Inactive after... switch. Interestingly, I managed to Download a 2.5Mb file (17Min) from AVG without interuption this afternoon, but after rebooting the PC, we returned to the erratic disconnect problem. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks.......John. |
