| 123087 | 2003-02-22 00:25:00 | I've got two computers here. One running XP and another running what ever the heck I have on it at the moment (Madrake9 currently). I've got ICS going. If I have the second rig running XP it can browse the web and do everything with no problems. When it's running mandrake/redhat/anythingelse it doesn't work. I can successfully ping websites so there is some DNS stuff happening somewhere. Fire up a browser and it just doesn't work. I've tried running a proxy on the XP box then telling the browser to use that and it works fine. Though it will be annoying trying to configure everything to use that proxy. Yes I do realise I should be using the linux box to connect directly |

| 123089 | 2003-02-22 03:00:00 | Well it is working...... but it isn't. If it can ping www.google.co.nz something must surely be working correctly. But fire up a browser and there's nothing at all happening. |
