123075 2003-02-22 01:08:00 Use CSS to define your font attributes. wuppo (41)
123076 2003-02-23 20:11:00 Tim,

As wuppo has said that site is using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) - you can read up on it here (www.westciv.com).

To easily use CSS on certain bits of your site you can add the following attributes to your <font> tag.

<font style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica; font-size: 9px;">

If you are going to use this all over your site it's probably easier to use an external .css file or style tag between the <head> tags and specify all your attributes in there - again it would be best to read up a bit on it first.

Hope this helps :-)

The only way to GARENTEE that people see a font the way you want, is to make it a graphic . People only see the specified font if it is installed in their machine .

For this reason i recomend that all titles etc be done as a graphic .

Font families just tell the machine use font#1, but if you don't have it, then try font#2, etc etc etc . Even size specifications will change in how individual browsers etc handle it .

Dyan was discusted seeing her web creations on my machines, simply because i don't have the fonts installed that she used, therefore it used system defaults .

To the best of my knowledge, their is no foolproof way around this .
