| 123293 | 2003-02-23 02:29:00 | I have just been upgrading an old box to windows 98 from '95. It used to have a version of outlook express on it (i have no idea which one) and I wanted to transfer the emails from the various folders to the new windows. I used my tried and true method of copying the store directory and using the import feature from within OE5. I tried to import both OE5 and OE4 messages, but it didn't work. On closer inspection, I noticed that the files from the old (win95) version of OE are all .idx and .mbx and the new versions are .dbx Is there any way to import these messages? Cheers, Craig. |

| 123295 | 2003-02-23 08:42:00 | Thanks for that! I usually use a method of importing through outlook 2000, but I never thought to try the same method through netscape. Fortunately, the computer is old and already had a suitable copy of Netscape communicator installed, so it was a perfect solution. Cheers, Craig. |
