123619 2003-02-24 21:22:00 OE : 0028 : C0030BAB is the blue screen error i am frequently getting on Dyans WinME machine while trying to pick up mail using OE.

Another error that has occured is:
"0028: C0030610 in VxD This error was called from 0028: C003064F in VxD"

This happened while pressing any key to continue, and while trying to restart. Google has not been good to me when i entered these errors.

Any clues for Clueless??

:D

123621 2003-02-24 23:55:00 Ok first off it is 0E not OE (which is quite a common mistake)
from what i can see its caused by crappy TCP/IP settings.
An update to IE6 may have resolved the problem, otherwise have a look at the microsoft KB and check out 0E errors

123623 2003-02-25 08:23:00 Disclaimer: I would like to comment that in the 1.5 years I have happily used Windows ME, there have been very few, if any problems, that is... (theme from Jaws the Movie builds in the background...) until .Clueless gets his paws on this machine...

But anyway, thank you roofus, and mmmmmmwah to .Clueless...

Surely:
0E = Zero Express
OE = Outlook Express

???? I query the zero

Nope i'm pretty sure its a 0 as the numbers that follow are a hexadecimal usually relating to a memmory address.
next time it happens clueless have a look at the shape of the 0 or O

123628 2003-02-25 09:01:00 Hm, having fixed my blue screens a couple of weeks back I'll now have to wait for the next set of disasters to check for 0s versus Os. Heather P (163)
