It can take years to gain sufficient confidence in one's self to be able to ignore unconstructive criticism. Young (and even the not so young) people are very sensitive and vulnerable to some of the kinds of comments you constantly dish up. From personal experience I know that it is very very easy to scar someone for life with a few well-chosen snipes that hit the bullseye.

To get your kicks out of that is damn cruel.

123993 2003-02-28 00:22:00 Here at work we have an old DOS stock/management tool that dates back to 1995, and it works just fine. It even manages to communicate with two printers on our network, one a Brother laser printer and the other an old dot-matrix.

Unless your old programs require sound or special graphics compatibility, XP should run it just fine. It never hurts to 'try-before-you-buy' though, as everyone here has stressed.

Text-based interface a-go-go!

123996 2003-02-28 00:50:00 There's something strange going on here ?:|

That's not the Merlin that I remember.

I wish the old one would come back.

Someone's been feeding this one meat.

Cheers
