This worked fine for a long time, and then i didn't come to pf1 for a few weeks (was busy with bursary stuff), but still surfed on other websites...then i came back to pf1, and everything was different...

It's the exponential thing, it might take 5s to fall and break you arm, but it takes months to get better :p, same dif:p, "a couple of weeks" = 14 days = 14^2 = 196 days of recovery :D:p

124277 2003-03-02 04:11:00 Caffy, have you been into your settings and had a fiddle in there? The forum had a few problems some weeks ago so it might need a little boot up the backside to jog its memory regarding your details .

Try changing your password then log out, clear your cookies and temp internet files, restart your browser then log back in again . Hopefully that will do the trick .

How would I do that?

Now that is a very good question!! :O

I have changed my password quite a few times but only because I had forgotten it! :D

Maybe it would be best to just try deleting your PF1 cookies and temp internet files before trying the password change as that could be enough to fix it. I don't exactly want to be held responsible for any disasters that might happen from my password changing suggestions. :|

124280 2003-03-02 07:12:00 I wasn't referring to HOW to change passwords lol...

i was referring to deleting cookies, that sort of stuff...
