| 124116 | 2003-02-27 02:30:00 | Try IP forwarding. It's usually disabled by default. If the file /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward contains "0", it's disabled. "1" means enabled. The file /etc/syconfig/network might have an entry FORWARD IPV4 "yes" (or "no") which controls this. | Graham L (2) | ||

I like to call things by their real name (NT5) not its marketing name, it makes it much easier to compare versions (NT 4, 5, 5.1, 5.2). Cheers Liam |

Well I'm loading on XP Pro onto the box right now, and if the bridging in that doesn't work, then I will try linux. Bearing in mind that this is only a temporary measure, I plan to build a dedicated Linux Proxy for the network (and before that I plan to buy a proper Wireless Access Point), however that is a few months away, as I cant afford it all on my small student income.
