| 124780 | 2003-02-28 22:42:00 | When I ask for a printout of a web page I am on, or an email I am reading, I get the following: !! An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line 1047 Char 1 Error Object doesn't support this property or method Code 0 URL res://C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dlg Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes/No This has ony recently started and I do not know why. The printer is fine in all other circumstances. I have WinME, IE6 and an HP845C. Any ideas, folks, before I blatt IE/OE and re-install???? (Ain't this fun!?) Andrew. |

| 124781 | 2003-03-01 00:18:00 | not sure if this will work but , open IE, click on tools > internet options > advanced look for "disable script debugging' and tick that. ok out of that and try again. i have no idea if this will work but when I used to get that message before ( not printing though ) doing the above fixed that. good luck sam m |

| 124782 | 2003-03-01 23:54:00 | Thanks Sam. Tried that. Went through all IE properties and settings to make sure everything exactly matched those in operation when the printing worked. I even went through system fonts in case I had lost one. It would be good to know how to view an email or web page with line numbers to see just WHAT character they are talking about. Thanks.
