| 124728 | 2003-02-28 10:59:00 | My boss want me to overload a new File server/Proxy to see howmany people can download at once on this connection the setup is like so [File Server]<----->[Proxy]<---->[100mbps fiber connection]<----->internet he wants to find out howmany people can download at once before the Fileserver or the Proxy or the Fiber crashes or overloads is there any way to do this? i'm thinking 100-200 people downloading at once before the proxy gives up thanks |

| 124730 | 2003-02-28 12:04:00 | yea i'm thinking the proxy will crash forst its a Linux box 1.6ghz 512ram ... you know he wanted to use the 10mbps backup to test it but you would need a 100mbps backup to attempt that i was thinking DAP.exe (download accereater pluss) it uses 7 connection at once but any ideas would be very apreciated (excuse the spelling in a hurry) |
