| 124615 | 2003-02-28 02:44:00 | On putting a disc in my cd rom, an error message comes up " The AUTORUN.EXE file is linked to missing export USER32.DLL" I'm guessing I've accidentally deleted something somewhere along the way..but what do I do now? | helpmeplease (3262) | ||
| 124616 | 2003-02-28 08:44:00 | Hi there I'm guessing that your post has been passed by because you didn't provide enough information for anybody to help you. Please post more information about your computer, i.e. the operating system (W95/98/2000/XP etc) brnd of CD ROM and if you think you may have deleted that file, where you have been doing deletions. For example, have you uninstalled any programs lately. You could also try a "Find File" search for that file name and see if it is still on your computer. You would not normally delete a DLL file accidentally as you would have no reason to go to the directory where they live. You would expect to find it in C:\windows\system. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 124618 | 2003-02-28 14:32:00 | What i would be tempted to do is find a freindly ME user, and get that person to email you a copy of user32.dll, and place it is C:\windows\system manually. .Clueless |
