but i want to be able to watch sky on 1 tv as well as 1/2/3 and normal 1/2/3 on the other tv...and being able to record both tvs..say sometimes i tape sky..or sometimes tv1/2/3... and also being able to watch tapes on either tv..coz yeah i take sky on 1 and kids want to watch videos or something on the other..mm

i've been trying to work out how to "arrange" cables or anything but i cant seem 2 work it out how to arrange it..

124457 2003-02-27 08:49:00 Slightly confusing description, but it sounds like all you want is a cable splitter! This may involve a trip to Dicksmith Electronics, and manual splitting of the cable, including desheathing, cutting, splitting, only I don't know the exact process. This will only allow you to watch the same Sky channel on both TVs at once, or switch to the normal free-to-air channels on both TVs. You could have your VCR hooked up to both the Sky and normal aerial connections, if it has two inputs, or just run Sky into it (Digital includes the free-to-air channelss). agent (30)

You cannot do what you want without also having a "normal" tv aerial for TV 1/2/3/4.

124459 2003-02-28 09:02:00 you could use one of those video sender gizmo's

Pretty sure you can only watch the one sky channel at a time and video the chanel you are watching. eg: you can't watch sky movies and tape sky sport. You will have to get another decoder if you want to do that

124460 2003-02-28 09:52:00 If you only have the dish and no tv aerial then you won't get tv's 1, 2 ,3 or 4 without using the sky system. You'll need a tv aerial hooked up to your other tv to make it work. cadifan (286)
