| 124995 | 2003-03-02 07:06:00 | Anyone getting fast D/Load speed with their JetStart connection? And by fast I mean > 100KBytes/Sec using P2P and still being able to Web Surf well. I cant but I know of a few that can at the moment and they are loving it. Shame Telecom does not up the speed limit a bit more to say 512kbps or even 256kbps would be nice. |

Sometimes I have a frustrating time just downloading a web page (reminds of the 56K!). |

| 124997 | 2003-03-02 19:21:00 | i MAY see them going to 256kb sometime, maybe next year, 512kb i doubt it very much for a few years at least. It would cost telecom too much and we couldn't have it cutting into their profits now could we! - David lol jetstart doesn't even classify as broadband, broadband is => 256kb |

Well with a 128k cap on JetStart the "theoretical" limit is 15.625 Kbps, however if the P2P transfer was going through the same DSLAM at the same exchange then it might be possible that the 128k cap doesn't kick in (because it happens at a later stage), which would allow 100Kbps transfers :D |

| 124999 | 2003-03-03 06:18:00 | Sometimes it does get uncapped briefly..... not sure if it still counts towards the traffic though. | -=JM=- (16) | ||

They had to stop because they was close to using up their 10GB for the month and it is only about a week into the period. Looks like it is just one exchange. |

Ouch, a 10GB cap :_|, I'm with Maxnet and don't have any data caps :) (Of course the fact that I've already max'd out my 40GB drive is enough to make you :_|... Still hoping to buy a 80GB drive by the end of this month) |

| 125002 | 2003-03-05 00:23:00 | Looks like Telecom finally tweaked as they said the speed dropped to 3KB/sec for part of the day and then back to the normal JetStart Speeds. | Big John (551) | ||
