Create your Fax using Word, Wordpad or any other word processor. When you are happy with the document click File > Print. The box that shows up will show your default printer. Click the list box there and it will show the default printer and the Fax. Print the document to the Fax and you will then get a prompt for the recipients number. Fill that number in and send it. The modem will dial out and send the Fax. > > 2: Does anyone know of any Speedway games? | 124885 | 2003-03-02 02:17:00 | Chris, I thought we had agreed that your fax problem was caused by having a "real" fax machine on the same line as your computer's faxmodem. There is no way that the fax machine recognised your number as the modem dialled it, and then answered and took the fax. It must have recognised the fax protocol negotiation. It, and the faxmodem detect the ringing signal from the exchange, not the DTMF tones. :D Try this. Listen on an extension while you dial your own phone number. You will hear the dial tone, DTMF tones, and then the engaged('busy") signal. |
