| 124861 | 2003-03-01 07:52:00 | I work for a community radio station that broadcasts on AM. We currently use a PC to play a lot of the music, but because the music is stored on the PC in cd quality, and the station is AM, the processing hardware that filters and corrects the sound before it goes to air has a lot of work to do, and I am not sure we are broadcasting the "best" quality that we could be. I am wondering if it is possible to get windows to apply a band pass filter effect in real-time to all sound passing through the sound card. There is one problem, however. A satellite reciever is run through the line-in of the PC and this audio is already filtered, and I would rather not filter this again with the effect I want for all other audio output. The other thing, is whatever the solution, it needs to be free... Hope someone can help, Craig. |
