124814 2003-03-01 07:01:00 If you are going to reply to each person individually you can set Outlook Express to add each person's email address to your Address Book automatically.

Go to Tools > Options > Send and put a tick in "Automatically put people I reply to in my Address Book".

Once you have them all there you can then select them all from within Address Book and send one email to the lot of them at once. Got to get 'em there first though. ;-)

If you wish to email the same group of people on a regular basis or more than once you should consider setting up a distribution list. This is a list where everyone's email address is entered and saved. You can edit the list whenever you want to. When you send the email you type in the name for the distribution list (you can have as many lists as you want to made up of different email addresses) and the same email is sent to all addresses on the list.

124816 2003-03-01 07:07:00 You can always make a text file and paste it into the BCC feild

name@domain1; name2@someotherdomain; etc etc etc

Just remember to BCC rather than use the To: field when bulk e-mailing, otherwise you will be doing the spam industry a great favour!

124817 2003-03-01 07:29:00 I agree,
I'm sure that I am getting spammed because my address shows up in the long list of 'To' people down the line.
The worst of it is when people do all that <fwd fwd you know what I mean without first cleaning up the Emails & removing previous addresses.
Using the 'BCC' line only is a good idea.

124818 2003-03-01 07:38:00 I agree too.

If you must use the "To:" line, then use some kind of automated-system, which sends emails individually.

124819 2003-03-01 08:36:00 All one has to do is put a suitible name in the to feild, i usualy put my own name and email address there. All other addresses are in the BCC to protect privacy.

124820 2003-03-01 09:12:00 Might pay to read the original posting again peoples. Unless I am mistaken, camcam does NOT want to add the people to his/her address book. Everyone seems to have given instructions on how to do it LOL Baldy (26)
124821 2003-03-01 09:19:00 Pasting a nice long list into the BCC field (see above) deosn't involve a addressbook entry.
