When 2 people race, the guy who loses comes last, not second. 2nd implies there are other places you could have been religated too, if you somehow had not managed to get 2nd. Nowhere except in New Zealand would lossing 5-0 be described as doing a great job. |

| 124953 | 2003-03-02 22:41:00 | You have to wonder that had TNZ been racing in the Louis Vuitton, and gotten the on water race experience that they needed as a team (rather than racing against themselves as they were during training) whether they would have done better. Surely Alinghi were advantaged by having had the opportunity to race against many different opponents in many different types of weather? Not that I care, of course. I'll be glad to be rid of the hype, and have that darned "Loyal" song dead and buried. |
