125255 2003-03-03 10:12:00 I need another 128MB of SDRAM after upgrading to xp professional

...preferably from somewhere in AK City (ie around K RD, Queen ST. area)...preferably around $45.00 including GST....

I have no credit card btw so on-line isn't an option right now...

any suggestions?

125256 2003-03-03 10:43:00 Most shops will accept a bankdeposit. In fact... not many take credit cards.

Have a look at PriceSpy (http://www.pricespy.co.nz) to find some prices.

I don't know who's the best to deal with in AK....someone else will though.

125257 2003-03-04 03:18:00 If your PC can take it, then choose DDR, but either way, buy RAM from:
Qmb.co.nz (http://www.qmb.co.nz)

Highly reccommended!

125258 2003-03-04 07:27:00 Well artpepper, if you live around that area you will be well aware of the 2 computer shops down K Road, there is also one just around the corner on Pitt st.

Don't expect to find cheap prices there though, you are talking about some of the highest rentals in NZ for these places, so they have to recoperate costs somehow!

125261 2003-03-14 01:34:00 What price do they do DDR-RAM?

BTW - QMB do post out.

I got them to post most of the parts needed for a PC and it cost $4.50!

Arrived the next afternoon!
