| 125192 | 2003-03-03 05:01:00 | My computer running windows XP keeps crashing, generally when left aloneand the screen saver comes on. The screen saver works for a while then the computer hangs. Any ideas? | vincent (3275) | ||
| 125193 | 2003-03-03 05:09:00 | What happens if you toss the screen saver? It wouldn't be the first time that a screensaver has led to an unattended computer dying in the night. My 'doze box became horribly enclined to give me a wake up bluescreen not that long ago. Selecting my new favourate screen saver ("none") fixed the problem. .Clueless |

| 125194 | 2003-03-03 05:10:00 | What are the specs of your computer? Have you got the computer set to go into some kind of power saving mode, such as standby or hibernate? How new is the computer, and was XP pre-installed, or did you install it yourself? Mike. |

| 125195 | 2003-03-03 05:26:00 | It's relatively new (Athlon 2100+) and XP was installed on it from the start. I haven't put got the power saving/ hibernate on at all. I have a Norton anti-virus which is kept up to date. | vincent (3275) | ||
