| 125326 | 2003-03-04 07:07:00 | I think the hotmail system is great, all spam goes to junk mail with all the rest,I then sort from that, what to allow into the main thingy.Once a week I have a look at junk mail, see it is indeed junk and clear. | Thomas (1820) | ||
| 125327 | 2003-03-04 07:29:00 | Hi old Eric I dont surf the net at all and use the net to keep contact with friends only and no one else uses my computer. | norrol (2154) | ||
| 125328 | 2003-03-04 07:57:00 | norrel, When mailwasher and it's clones first came out it was effective because it was one jump ahead. It deosn't take alot to figure out that real bouncing happens in seconds, and mailwashers fake bouncing happens in hours or days. I expect that spammers will have had software written that can tell the difference. If the spam won't go away, it's time to change to a new email address. Your old one is doomed to collect spam forever. Do not post your new address anywhere, unless you want to lose it. For "public" addresses use hotmail, yahoo addresses. These are free and disposible. Yes, even listing your address on PF1 will do it. pf1_n@something.net.nz is an address i used purely for listing in my public profile here, and it has attracted spam. Also avoid giving your address to people who broadcast the address in bulk mail. Anyone who sends "those" amazing stories to: address1, address2, address3, your_address@lets_tell_everyone.com, address4, cannot be trusted to keep your address private! Remember these emails not only get passed around but they get forwarded.. BAD NEWS THIS BE! .Clueless |

| 125332 | 2003-03-04 08:14:00 | yip, I hate the stuff. My first 2 were novel, but now, it's just an annoying distraction. I only like it when it is imaginative. like the one trying to sell me a search engine listing or something which had a picture of a monitor with MY site on screen. Other than that it is evil and those who make a living from it deserve shooting. No big deal really .Clueless ] |
