I got my job at the cyber cafe coz I went in there frequently and taught the boss a few things about PC's, and at IDG, I got the job by responding to an ad in this forum, to which I was/am a regular :D |

| 125181 | 2003-03-04 07:28:00 | I've had an idea of gathering out of work IT/Computer Technicians from all around NZ and finding them contract work in their area. Obviously I'd need to create a central business location where calls could be made too then we'd pass on the call to Technicians in that area. Is this idea farfetched? I've been consulting with another person who's interested in this idea and would consider taking this idea further. It's not a profit making company but more of a helping Technicians gain needed work experience, in which they can move on to bigger and better jobs. I'm positive we could convince the government to help us on this one but as for now it's just an idea. Would anyone be interested in doing something like this? Transport probably need to be required but with the money you make from the job you should be able to get around fine by Taxi (not professional I know but it's a good way for starting out.) |
