125160 2003-03-03 08:45:00 VCD Easy is also a very good program for burning VCDs
heaps of advanced options

nero is nothing compared to it
but VCD Easy does take a bit longer though

from previous experience
sometimes the vcd i burn from nero won't play smoothly
but VCD Easy makes it play smoothly
so.... give it a try

125161 2003-03-03 11:06:00 Thanks for the tip Bootylicious .

I have downloaded what you have told me to and followed the steps .

Just a quesion when it says to split the movie in half i did that but what happens with the next half do I have to manually go back and get the half . So these halves will go on different CDs is that correct?

Also once i have encoded the movie (which took about 2hrs for half of the movie) what do i do next .

Do i open up Nero burn? What should i select in Nero eg Video CD etc .

Your help has been outstanding and hopefully we will be able to complete this soon .

Much appreciated .

Cheers .

1:If the movie or video have is less than 80 minutes you do not need to to split it . (just convert to vcd and burn to cd)

2:say it's biger than 80minutes and you have split the first half .

go back and split the starting frame where you ended the first half and make the end frame the end of your video . Then convert to vcd .

3:in nero select vcd and burn .

IF YOUR VIDEO IS NOT BIGGER THAN 80 MINUTES YOU
DON'T NEED TO SPLIT IT!!( just convert to vcd)

125163 2003-03-03 11:31:00 i should have said if your video is smaller than 80minutes you can burn it to one cd. (700mb 80min cd)

if you had to split it you will need burn each video to it's own cd.

ie: first half to 1 cd and the 2rd to different cd.

Fast&Furious.mcf

Fast&Furious.mpeg

i think you need more help than i can give over the net, you need hands on help.(but if i can i will help.)

125166 2003-03-04 08:43:00 Hey bootylicious. Since last night i have managed to make the file a .mpg file and burnt this onto a CDRW disc.

However I am unable to play this through my DVD player.

The player detects that it is a Video CD and has only one track on the cd but still doesnt seem to play.

I am in the process of burning this movie onto a Super Video CD and see if that changes anything.

Will let you know how i get on.

Cheers.
