| 125238 | 2003-03-03 09:15:00 | Yes When you formatted the HDD and reinstalled Windows, you should have also reinstalled the driver for your video chipset/card. Its not part of the windows install. If you have not got the original drivers, go to the card maker / chipset maker / motherboard makers website and download them. Then install them, and all should be sweet. Same goes for your audio chipset drivers quite likely. |

| 125240 | 2003-03-03 10:16:00 | OK... We may be able to find out. Do you have a "Brand name" computer like HP, Compaq or Dell etc. If so what Model No do you have? Do you have a motherboard manual that came with your computer? When you start your computer do you get on the monitor in writing on black somthing like SiS66xx, WinFast, Leadtek, S3Trio or anything like that? I realize it may be flash up fast and may be difficult to see. Do you have driver disks either floppy or CDRom that came with your computer? One of these will probably contain the video drivers you need. |
