| 125208 | 2003-03-03 05:37:00 | want to narrow the delay between Chicago sending live data and us receiving it. Passes through 17 servers on the way to Chicago. There is a lag. Currently using ADSL, Nokia 1112 router, Pentium 2.4, 512ram. Average ping time 213ms. Would much appreciate any idea's and suggestions. |

The ping time average you are getting at the moment seems OK. As far as I know there is no way to tell the software to only use Servers T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z so you only use six servers instead of 17 |

| 125210 | 2003-03-03 21:12:00 | Going to frame relay would knock 30ms off the ping. Other than that changing ISPs may also offer a small improvement. Fiddling with the MTU might offer a bit of an improvement too. |
