125208 2003-03-03 05:37:00 want to narrow the delay between Chicago sending live data and us receiving it. Passes through 17 servers on the way to Chicago. There is a lag. Currently using ADSL, Nokia 1112 router, Pentium 2.4, 512ram. Average ping time 213ms.
Would much appreciate any idea's and suggestions.

The only solution I have for this one is for you to move closer to the server unfortunately.

The ping time average you are getting at the moment seems OK.

As far as I know there is no way to tell the software to only use Servers T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z so you only use six servers instead of 17

Fiddling with the MTU might offer a bit of an improvement too.
